The reason why H&R spacer kits are 1000% more expensive than any other spacer manufacturer is because of the following; Here are some facts -

      - All spacers are very very lightweight, strong and does not corrode and breakapart using the best material grade - Forged Magnesium.

      - High tensile bolts are spec and measured for standard factory bolts re-fitment. As long as you don't put a torque gun to it, they will never fail or break vs. soft rubbish factory bolts.

      - Each spacer kit is designed for each specific vehicle. Ensuring perfect fitment, with no substandard fitment found with "universal" spacer products. So, you pay for engineering and safety above all.

Are you serious ? you don't know why volk wheels are so expensive ?

its not cause there exclusive, its cause there forged light weight and stronger than any cast wheel replica.

These spacers that you bolt to your hub (rather than the floating type) - are these still illegal and would you run into insurance problems if your car was found with them in an accident?

yes. All spacers are illegal unless they are fitted as OEM.

              ... in NSW anyway...

will it be too short for the lug if you put 10mm spacer?
coz i was told that it will be dangerous to just even put 10mm spacer coz the lug will be too short and the nuts wont be able to keep your wheels safe

A 10mm slip on spacer on stock studs is not safe, the wheel nuts will barely be threaded on if at all. You can either get a longer wheel studs pressed in, or get bolt on spacers.

Go to see Chris@Wheels Revolution at Moss Street(if u r in Brisbane), they do customize spacer with the correct hub center with the wheel and hub.

Yeah 5mm fits fine, you can go 8mm max before there is not enough thread.

I have 18mm Isotta spacers front and rear. They cost around the same. You don't stooge when it comes to this kind of stuff.
