What do you need these for?

I know where you can find some JDM 'A grade' 5mm spacers.
Decided to run calipers have you?

you can get H&R DRS spacers from this mob. I was quoted $250 for a pair of 15mm spacers and $285 for a pair of 25mm spacers.

what's the benifit of using high quality spacers?

the same reason why people prefer Volk/Rays/Work wheels to stuff from Ozzytyres?

Does sound abit high. I am looking at it from a manufacturing side of things

block high grade Aluminum ~ $15
                CNC machining ~ $50

and you have your self of custom made spacers for $65

they're $250 a pair because they come with extended lugs, and of course, the brand. I doubt you will be able to bolt the wheel on if you don't extend the lugs. Do you really want to cheap out on the bits that hold your car to the road?

just got a 2 pairs of 25mm spacers from H&R for like 550 something from TCCA motorsports (they have a website). Why i chose to spend that money well, same as tofu said quality. made in germany and is the best spacers i believe you can get on the market though costly, but you dont want your wheel to fall off, rather the peace of mind spending a bit more. recently stamford tyres from what they told me a week ago, they have some "A grade" Jap. Spec. ones coming in/available for half the price of H&R. hearing from a guys long experience with spacers was told that running cheap spacers is very dangerous... his S13 lost 1 wheel on the M4...

Hmm i think i would be more worried about the quality of my wheel studs than the spacers.

                          both are just as important.
Spacers, they are the first point of contact your wheel has with the car. (if you use them)
