    JDM conversion on DC2R

i cracked the front bar on my dc2 and needed to replace it, and i was thinking i may as well do a jdm conversion on it but was wondering how much work would be involved and sourcing parts for it, thanks!

    You'll need:
    - bonnet
    - grill
    - guards
    - headlights
    - bumper + lip
    - bumper support
    - radiator support T piece

the AUDM bonnet latch can be re-used.

Yep. Hence the T piece I mentioned. Need to "drill" off (or weld off?) the AUDM T piece and weld in the JDM T piece.

It's about a days work if u can weld or have a welder.

It's a simple job and not to tricky, as for the radiator support, u need a sheet metal drill bits to remove the spot welds.

Did mine after work over 3 evenings.

In regards to the Bumper Support, I believe I am re-using the AUDM one.

So no need to worry about that too much if you didn't get that piece.

                  ^ Thanks for the clarification.

How much of it needs to be cut and where?

Some of the plastic on the inside needs to be cut to fit on either side just above the vents in the bar,

I cut my track bar as I had trouble sourcing at JDM reo and bumper support.
