How and where to fit oil temperature guages ?

Hey just got myself a set of guages . I have a rough idea on where the oil pressure goes . But cant seem to find a place for the oil temp . After doing much reseach will i have to tap into and make my own hole in the sump ?

You can get a sandwich for the oil temp sensor.

Getting an oil sandwich plate will allow you to fit both pressure and temperature sensors. The sandwich plate goes between the oil filter and engine block obviously. I also read up that you are able to place them on the oil sump plug, by getting a special sump plug that you can attach the sensor on to, though I do not recommend it because of how it sits.
