Buddy club spec 3 installation

For those out there who have installed the spec 3. Does anyone know if it is a straight bolt on? Or is there additional custom
Welding or what not to be done. This is for a dc2. Im not sure if the dc5 is similar? But yeah opinions guys!!!

From memory (not a DC2 owner) doesn't it depends what headers you have since JDM and AUDM are different? i.e. If the BC is made for JDM headers, it may not bolt onto AUDM headers or may bolt on but be too short / long.

jdm has 2.5 " headers and 2.5" cat conveter and 2.5" cat back
Cat converter is 12 "

AUDM is 2inch every thing.. Also cat is longer.. about 16"


You want JDM spec exhaust. Its bigger size. But this will involve JDM header, cat and cat back change.. Unless u modify the AUDM to fit the jap spec stuff.

easy way to no is measure it. 12" is jdm and AUDM is like 15-16 "

Also JDM has 2.5" collectors when AUDM has 2"

I collected the exhaust. It comes with a high flow cat welded into the system is this normal?

Not usually, if anything it should have been bolted on.

False alarm. As expected. It was a resonator. Which waswhy i was shocked when he said it was a cat
