    Fuel Filter

Where can i go to get my fuel filter changed? is it an easy replacement that any old mechanic can do or can it be stuffed up and do damage if poorly done (since its regarding fuel system).

OEM replacement ok? $97 for OEM or is there aftermarket for this?

it requires the removal of the fuel pump from the fuel tank and quite specific "quick-connect" fuel line knowledge...

although this is unusual - i would not recommend it to a novice to try at home.

i doubt there is aftermarket fuel filters...

how many KM has your car done?

why do you think you are getting low KM per tank?

I thought he ment the fuel filter in the engine bay not the funny gauze thing attached to the fuel pump..

heres a DIY from Team integra that guides you through..

I never changed the gauze thing on the pump side before..

small tip.. before doing this though..
if you have any cuts or new wounds.. while doing anything with petrol.. make sure you use gloves ^_^... you will thank me for that =P...

ohh and BTw.. i have seen it done without doing the step with disconnecting the clip to the fuel pump/start engine till it dies part

just make sure you got alot of rags.. and atleast releast the preasure from the tank via Fuel cap (where to pump gass in)

If your not confident with your mechanical skills you might wanna ask someone whos good with this stuff to do it..

i dont consider it a hard thing to replace.. but its a scary one atleast if you never did it before..

Chosta - your profile says you have a DC5 - can you confirm this?

if so, ignore Wlee2, he is referring only to a DC2...

and follow my advice, which refers to a DC5 situation...

ummm... yeah DC2 is easy. Just take it past IS motor racing, or any garage of the sort. depends if you trust them etc... That's really important to me. They won't charge nearly as much as Honda would.
