DC5 Pre-Facelift Front Bumper with Facelift Lights

Has anyone tried to fit a pre-facelift bumper onto a DC5 with facelift headlights? Seeing if it will fit straight as I know it can fit by shaving down the areas for the "teardrops". It's only temporarily, max a day or two.

I'll try find the link, i think if you do cut the 'teardrops' it should just bolt up the same though :/

Wouldn't there just be holes where the teardrop exists?

Sorry to revive a old thread. But can anyone spot me on this? Im trying to put face lift head lights onto a pre-facelift type r for a mate. Is it possible?!
