5Zigen A spec

Hey guys this is the exhaust I ripped of my DC5R and I have no clue what is on the side of the cannon. I have looked online but found alot of these without them and I did see a photo but did not tell me what it is and what it does!!

Personal note: I do love the sound of it but was very limiting in performance. If you want a quiet drive with some loud noise in Vtec and you are not trying to chase high numbers then I would highly recommend but if you want performance and more performance then 5zigen is not for you.

Could it have same affect as a like twin loop exhaust .sort of like the same thing

Definitely a resonator.

Had this exhaust on my DC5 for 12months.
External resonator.
Exhaust gases pass this on WOT! It restricts sounds and a little bit of performance.
Simliar to Mugen Twin Loop.

If you want to open it up a bit i would suggest getting the resonator cut off and welded the cut shut.
