    Baffle pans

Ok so im looking at baffle plates for the Dc2R. The moroso 20911 are quite cheap. But not sure to the fact if they'll fit with Jdm style 4-1 headers. Any one know??

    So i came across these.

There plates u insert into your stock oil pan.

Was wondering if any one has used them, Installed them or has any feed back on them??

    Thanks guys,

I have baffle sump plates (from JDMyard if I remember correctly) and they were welded in by an exhaust shop when the sump was off.

Felix, they are fairly straightforward to weld right ? If so, I'm thinking of getting plates and getting dad to tig weld them in for me at work.

I didn't see it happen but I believe so. Just make sure the oil is all cleaned out before welding and see if you can find a picture of a K sump with baffled plates already welded in for reference.

just get a plate from JDM Yard and get a place to weld it in for u, it will cost half the price of a morso and do the same job.

                tig should be fine

assuming your car is getting some track action, are you having oil starvation during hard turning? Reason why im asking is the Moroso sumps are better suited for racing (I have the Moroso 20901 and the baffle setup is way more advanced than the weld in stuff.

Make sure it’s a quality weld. It’s hard to keep an eye on it after it’s in.

I’d be nervous though, the last thing you want is the weld/screws breaking off with the plate blocking the pickup area.

Ironically that’s how several failures have occurred

Question. Just noticed while looking through workshop manual. That the B's have a baffle plate. This being said is the moroso 20911 or aftermarket baffle plates needed?
                          Thanks
