just for referance, my dc5r with same sandwich plate but with autometre gauge and 0-40 oil is about 25-30 psi at idle! reving at the higher rev range i see in the 80-100psi range.

what is your oil pressure at idle?
what is your oil pressure at 3000rpm with the car in neutral?
if you here strange noises turn car off straight away!

                Hey mate,

Whilst waiting in maccas drive thru thought id do some testing.

Pictures below can show the figures.

                Approx 33psi in both photos.

Upon driving/crusing at 60-70km/h, the oil pressure is at approx 5.0-6.0 x100 kpa (80psi).

what if you put a smaller oil filter would it raise the oil pressure?

                      huh? smaller than a z547?

                      you talking motorcycle size?

and the 'stated' problem for OP is a 'reported' 0 psi at 7000rpm during left hand cornering...

Alex. I will give you a report of my oil pressures as soon as possible.
Mine doesn't read in kpa like yours, mines in PSI.
For those wondering, running Digital DRiFT Gauges, have done me very well so far.
Will post results as soon as possible just for comparisson.

Im starting to think your unit may have been installed not correctly though.. Those PSI readings aren't exactly good.

                          Report done just now.
                          Idle
                          800rpm - 40 psi temperature 84degress not peak.
                          2000rpm - 92 psi
                          3000rpm - 100 psi
                          4500 rpm - 110 psi 89 degrees

                          Driving
                          6000 rpm - 130 psi
                          7800 rpm 140 psi 91 degrees*

Much different to Alex's reading so there's a comparison for those who needed more info.

Seems like a silly q but are both pressure sensors mounted at the sandwich plate?

Also are tests done at cold, hold, semi throttle, wot etc.
