Is mixing mineral and semi synthetic engine oil of the SAME grade ok?

as title state.. was just wondering cuz i cant find credible stuff on the net..

i'd say better not to mix the 2 oil together even tho they are the same grade.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it but have done so in emergency situations...
