    Octane Boost

    Does any one run octane boost.. Is it safe to run all the time.. Around what power gains are expected.. Are there any gains if its not tuned for higher octane levels??

    In order: No, Yes (Although might affect longevity of catalytic converters or oxygen sensors), None without a tune, No.

      might wanna confirm how badly it damages your O2 sensor and plugs first though...

      like the TV adverts say: "vitamin assistance is only of benefit if your dietary intake is inadequate"

      depends on why you are running it?

      i'd only use it if i could not buy 98 fuel...

        Well yer im in Sydney.. fuel no problem.. I always use 98 and had car tuned with it to.. But running nulon Pro-Strength Octane Booster raises a tank of 98 to 100.5 octane. And thought if any one runs it on track days or on the quarter??

          I only use it at track days to make sure i dont get any pinging because my car is a import and it is meant to run on 100 octane fuel(Says that is the fuel door).

              Don't know, i don't live in sydney and anyways to get it to 100 they added ethanol which is not recommended to in the B18C.
