    K20Z1 VTEC kicking at 6200..when should be 5500

    Stock ecu dc5s vtec kickin at 6200rpm..?? Every1 eless is 5500

    i think it mite hav had the ecu flashed or it has aftermarket cams in it, that all i can think of, or maybe the map is wrong. i highly doubt it though.
    reswet the ecu and see if it changes

          every dc5 ive been in has vtec at 5500rpm. and its in the vehicle stats on the net

            Mine kicks in at 5800-6200... I thought that was normal?

                    (note well - it states 'engagement window' which is the lowest RPM when VTEC *might* be engaged from)
