bunny hopping issue?

lately ive had a bunny hopping issue each time i mildly give it to the car. it starts bouncing from 5-6k rev onwards from 1st to 3rd. is it the engine mounts? what else could it be? i dont know if this is relevant but may i need a torque dampener? tyres are on 80% thread so i dont think its them. its been annoying because whenever i hit it even a tad, i start jumping like a pogo stick. can any body give me a heads up on what it is? thanks all

Are you on stock engine mounts? Could be worn.

Maybe a stock engine mount snapped, so as you go into greater revs the engine shakes too much

yeah on stock engine mounts. nah no weird noises at all. i just feel the car shake like no tomorrow at high revs. should i go aftermarket engine mounts? if so, which ones?

no - you need to work out what the problem is before you ask for advice about which aftermarket parts to buy...

have you visually inspected your engine bay - you need a torch and get up close and personal with anything that connects the engine to the body....

lol how would a worn clutch cause axle tramp?

or you've managed to fook your hasports
or you're launching way to hard

not sure. just wanted to see if it might have been a possibility at all.

well the innovatives only came with 3 mounts. could be the front stock mount that still needs to be replaced (even though it's brand new).

^ when i ordered my inno mounts from US, they gave me an option of also purchasing fronts for about 100 extra.

Yeah sounds like engine mounts have gone (it will be split! mine was). Don't use torque damper, waste of money if your upgrading mounts. If you need new mounts, I advise you to definitely go either Hardrace/Innovative 60a. They are cheap to buy, not fairly hard to install and doesn't vibrate like a race car like mine does now. I have Hasport 70a and it's just crazyyy and want to change to J's Racing Mounts.

I had this on my DC2 it ended up being inner cvs
