Tinks,
not sure if this is the same issue i had to go through with, but tyres, whether new or used, must be inspected by quarantine (lady @ FedEx explained to me)
my tyres sat in the fedex facility for almost a week due to their incompetence...
if its the duty + GST your worried about, someone from FedEx would have called you already about it.
mate of mine had his shipment charged for Duty + GST before the goods had even landed on our shores.
all good - was slightly concerned abt taxes - but i already had an email convo with Customs about it prior to purchase saying it will be all good if under 1000...
Was curious about this so I gave my clearance company a call.
Couldn't find out much as the reason is too vague and could mean a mirid of things. Has it actually been despatched? If so then you can narrow it down to it being a local delay.
If you want a more definate reason PM me your track no. and I can get my clearance guy to find out the exact reason for you.
Never mind about what I said as I just read your last post Dave.
Definitely consider the Z1s, especially considering how cheap they are from tirerack at the moment in your size. They offer a good step up in grip over the RE001 in my experience and will tolerate track use better. The AD08 and RE11 are also worth considering but I doubt they are worth the 20-30% price premium over the Dunlops.
