Looking at the site Tinkerbell the DC5S uses a flat bed air filter, but the K&N website displays a cylinder type air filter for the stock replacement of the 2005 RSX / RSX Type S.

Just dropped in the K&N Air Filter, $119. Went for a little spin, sounds nice at low revs, cant reallie notice a different at high revs. Seems to be smaller then the OEM one, but can hear the air gushing through. Could be paranoid here but it doesnt matter which way it goes in right? (both ends looks the same)
