For a x8 inch wheel i rather for 225/40 / 225/45 on it. See the front of my car. Thats 17x8 and i ran 225/45/17 advan AO 48 on it

      First off.

Good to see you have searched this, as it has been covered MANY times in the past.

XXR are ok. The size is good. If you don't want to have any speedo problems, you'll need to run a 225/45/17.

You won't have any problems in the front, but you'll need to run about -3' camber if your rear guards aren't rolled.

You won't have to roll guards, and the camber number that 45SET quotes is like always heavily dependent on ride height. With a 225/45 on a 17x8 +35, -3 will clear when your ride height is basically tyre level with guard at the rear but you can use less camber if your ride height is higher.

225/40 is a nearly unobtainable tyre size. Available in Hoosier R6 and not much else. Just use a 215/45, you won't need to roll the guards, will need very minimal camber and it is less big.
