Running DC5R Brembos

Hey all,

Just a question here. I have the opportunity to get my hands on a set of JDM DC5R complete front suspension with brembos and I have the following Qs..

If I want to run the JDM Hubs to have less offset at the front, will I need to change driveshafts as well? Or is it just hub and control arms? Also, are JDM rear hubs and AUDM rear suspension the same?

Also, if I choose to just run the calipers, can I use jdm rotor or do I need to buy S2K?

THIS is all you need. Read it all.

Use the JDM DC5R rotor, no other will fit with the JDM knuckle/hub. JDM rear knuckles are the same as the aus model according to Chi but the caliper, rotor, hub, and wheel bearing are all different so just swap in the whole rear JDM setup.

It is a good idea to change the driveshafts, they are definitely different and I don't think your current ones will enjoy being stretched an extra 15mm.

Cheers all for the link. Should've read that earlier. Time to toss up whether it's worth swapping all this over to get it running.

wheels with a +47 offset put unto JDM hubs, would mean your sitting on a +32 offset wheel really. Just make sure you have enough clearance on your wheels first before you decide to get brembos. If not your going to have to get another pair of front wheels to clear it. And yes, as Tom said, changing to JDM driveshafts is probably the most reasonable and safe thing to do.

Yep I've taken note of that. Have stock DC5R wheels at the moment and also have JDM 17x7 wheels to use if I decide to go through with it. It's a lot to change for bling points and a bit of improved braking performance haha.

Indeed. I went through the hassle of doing it. Love it, bling, offset and everything else! Only down point is, its going to cost you shit loads. I even stripped the paint of mine and repainted them myself.
