      I wouldn't bother, but if you wanted to, use a proper aftermarket computer if you have enough engine mods to warrant having it.

        Yer i heard alot of mixed views on apexi controller.. Some love them some say there shit.. Why's that??

          Honda did a pretty good job of controlling the VTEC and air/fuel from factory wouldn't you say?

            Vtec yer. Cuts in about 5,8 and if you shift at 8.5 next gears still in vtec so yer sweet. Air to fuel dont no.. I sort changed the intake abit so may need a retune???

                    power FC is a stand alone system giving you full tune options and stacks of additional stuff. the VAFC does fk all in the bigger picture and most people end up modding their car more and needed a power FC

                      VAFC is good for dyno tuning mild mods like intake & exhaust.

                      Tuner should bring air-fuel ratio as close as possible to "stoich", overcoming the rich/ safe oem ecu mixture.

                      The engine will now run more efficiently, smoother & a bit more power.

                          Cheapest way to tune it would be a 2nd hand VAFC/ VAFC 2.

                          Otherwise stand-alone ECU (Hondata or Power FC) as stated by others.

                              Around a 1000 bucks for the Power FC. Some go for around 800 second hand, a bit more with the hand controller.
