    Baffled oil pan - DC2R

    With the dollar being so strong and all, thinking about getting one of these.

    Just wondering what people think of the Moroso high-capacity baffled oil pans?

    I can weld in a baffle plate from JDMYard etc, but this would be a simple swap operation and I like having a standard sump to be able to put back if I want to return to stock.

    Thoughts / other alternatives? Discuss!

          I have a set of fastline B series baffle plates that needs to be welded in.

          I had used this on the old b20 vtec, simple and works great.

            i am running the std moroso sump cam - seems fine on track with my B20

            i have a 60 psi oil siren, it never beeps once circulating...

              It's a standard capacity sump with baffles, right tinks?

                Yeah, apart from looking snazzy it stops the oil surge which could make the inside of your motor not look very snazzy.

                  In most cases, welded in plates in a standard sump will do the job.

                  My fingers were just being twitchy when I scanned ebay..LOL

                      Just becareful - there are 2 types of extended sumps

                      One allows you to use the stock oil pickup, the other requires an extended oil pickup

                        NB: in USA - a 'sump' is referred to as an 'oil pan' (cause they suck)
