Removing Stock Integra Type S Gear Knob?

Anyone know how to do this without breaking gear knob i tried twisting off gear knob turns but nothing happens... feels like its going to break...

There are clips on the gear knob itself connecting to the shift boot, you will need to pull it off the shift boot from memory. Its been 2 years since i changed my one, cant remember exactly.

you have to take off the panel that is attached to the shift boot with a flat head, once off as said above there are clips attached that you unclip to remove.

i think you have to push the knob down and then twist it
