I take that is shipping included.

Using today's exchange of 1AUD/85cUSD that would come to AUD$319.04.

So that would come down to AUD$15.95/tote.

how is the AUD 85 cents?!?!?!

there is nowhere you can buy* any USD for 85 cents...

please be careful with your information...

here is the current ex rate: http://www.rba.gov.au/

(*remember you need to pay commission on foreign exchange, so the price you buy USD for is BELOW the actual exchange rate)

Since the number has reached 60 in total I will end the group buy here

the seller can only fit 20 totes in a 20lb parcel box so I will tell him to send 2 parcels to Sydney (40) and 1 parcel to Melbourne (20).

And then I will post 8 totes to the organizer in Melbourne (TeMp). Postage will be out of my own pocket (don't worry)

TeMp I will contact you during the weekend.

Dav - it was just an estimation, relax. Nelson is the one who will need to confirm the actual price as at the end of the day as hes the one paying the supplier.

My Bank (HSBC) quoted me 85cents this morning and it is pointless quoting the reserve bank exchange rate when you exchange your money at a bank.

There is also usually a fee ($10AUD or so) if you do an international wire but there should be none if u pay via paypal? Not sure how Nelson is paying for it.

i just don't want anyone saying "but he said it was $xx.xx"

was that their 'sell' rate? not their 'buy' rate?

Seller would likely to have their paypal account in merchant category, i think it would incur 3% charge of total amount of money sent.

Sometimes when I send through paypal (personal+gift=no fee), but at times when I send to a store, it automatically asks whether I want to pay the fee or deduct from the money sent.
