KU31's are more leaning towards passenger cars (daily driven). Excellent for daily driving, giving your wheel alignment is spot on, they tend to last quite awhile (Obviously also depends on how aggressive you drive). I've fitted many of these on every day cars, even on light performance cars and customers have been very happy with them. Apparently very quiet in comparison to some of the bridgestones. So thumbs up for me. Do abit of research tho don't want you coming after me if you don't like it lol

So the KU36's get good reviews around here. They do look good. Apparently they don't come in 195 55 15 size, but option1 garage says the 205 50 15 will legally fit my stock dc2r rim. Anyone here have experience with this? Should I or shouldn't I?

                    PS

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec's in 195/55/15 are about $660 Australian (delivered) from tirerack.

                    According to this review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC83IbX__Gg

Z1's are much better than the KU36's (known as Ecsta XS in the States), but not as good as RE-11's, which are available in 195/50/15 at about $840 Australian (delivered).

I really want to get the JDM DC2 16 inch wheels, but want to find a good
215/45/zr16 tyre to suit, and cant afford massive amounts of money, can someone reccomend what would be a good tyre for this rim?

Has anyone got these on their DC2R ? and are they harsh and noisy? and do you feel every bump on the road?

I won't get the rims for a few months, but want to work on my budget for it all now

                      Cheers

To be honest, I don't know.... I didn't get any speeding fines though if that helps : ) No idea about the pricing sorry.

I got it.. I'm using Hankook KU31 and it was around the $150/cnr mark. Tires seems to be ok for me personally : )

Harsh and noisy depending on what tires you're running. Feel every bump? no.. not really... quite comfy to me

I think you mean Kumho KU31's unless you have Hankook Ventus' or Optimo's.

Like c01567 said they're cheap at Option1garage. If you live interstate like me you can get them for $94 delivered to your door ($85 if you pick up). However Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001's are about $155 (195/55/15).

But I have read that the Kumho's can experience cupping as well as high tread wear. Plus I didn't realise that Kumho's are Korean (sounds Jap) and that doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me. So now for my car I'm leaning towards Adrenalins even at the extra cost.

I have a set of the Z1 SS on my DC5 at the moment in 255 and 225 and I will be able to give full impressions and a comparison with AD07s after Superlap in just over a fortnight . Initial impressions are that they grip okay for a street tyre and they are fairly loud.
