Where should we get our new tyres?

Where should we all be buying our tyres?

    What's the cheapest option?

Should we just wait for sales?

With the Aussie dollar doing so well should we still be buying from our local tyre dealer, or should we be looking online at places like tirerack.com and paying for shipping?

    Where are the best places?

$70US per tyre = $280US for a set. Currency conversion at todays rate = approx $310AUD just for shipping. Was it worth it?

4 x 16" RE01Rs for less than what RE001s can be purchased for locally. As above. Sure was.

I'm looking for a set of tyres for my DC2R at the moment. Standard 195/55/15 size. If anyone knows of good prices on some good rubber let me know.

                              Option1garage price for KU31 in 195 55 R15 is $85 each plus $36 freight for 4 tyres.

They don't have KU36's in that size.
