why ? is there something wrong with it ? (MIL light comes on once the engine is warm),,, if there is no problem don't touch it you wont gain any power from it unless of course its faulty and not running in closed loop but that's mainly fuel economy

o2 sensor is not a 'service' item.

only replace it if it is damaged.

the 02 has been through shit...its copped octane booster...then i had dribbling injectors so its been fouled so i wanna change it..not for more power but for a peice of mind ....it runs crap once warm...and runs worse in hot weather....as for engine light ive had many cars have problems with sensors but not log a code or a light...and take ba/bf falcon...they only put a light up if its emission related

          have a look here:

          http://www.drivewire.com/vehicle/acu...oxygen-sensor/

or maybe call Honda and ask for the part number for a VTiR one and an Type R one - ask if they are the same...

plug should be same for all DC2's though

Just be prepared to fork out a fair bit for the sensor.

For the DC5 the secondary o2 sensor is about 350AUD landed. From memory the quote here was about 560AUD.

Just make sure it has 4 wires.
