gruppe in ep3

hey guys do you really have to cut the scuttle to install the gruppe m?
can it just be a straight fit on ??

the gruppe m intake requires no cutting only unclipping the stock bit underneath the windshield and replacing it with the one that has the scoop attatched

and how about the scoop bit that gets bolted onto well the scuttle area is that neccessary ???
