Catalytic Converters. What types to look at...

    Hey guys,

Just would like some information on what sort of catalytic converters to like at and what to avoid.
I would to get a Hi Flow Cat but don't have a clue on brands and that.

I came across a brand the other day called Venom, would anyone know if they are any good?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Renny.

I droped my car of at the exhaust shop this morning to have the headers fitted up along with a cat, the guy told me his gonna use a 200 cell Hi Flow metal cat which is apparently 20cm long, I think something like this would suit you perfectly, ill find out more details regarding the cat itself & post up some pics!

Talk to Adrian at Toda Racing, I got a 3" spiral wound cat off him and it's great. It's not a big brand or anything, but I've had it for a couple of years without and issue and it was very reasonably priced.

I get black crap on my bumper and my cat is fine. I'm using a Metal Cat as above. It will probably stop a bit, but not all of it.

looks plenty good, built in heat shield and all.

buy the flanges and donut gasket from ozhonda traders and get it all welded up at your local exhaust shop and you're all set.
