ive had a dc5r, had my share with a few cars, always wanted a k swap civic and thats whats going to be done, money isnt an issue.
dont get me wrong id go dc5r again, but in comparison to the jap dc5rs, we did get bad end of the deal.
anyways my question is answered, so thanks alot!! watch out for the build thread.
Cheers fellas!Last edited by damo46; 01-08-09, 10:45 PM.Looking High and Low for a TRUENO!

I like the eg lot better than the ek myself but....
price of cxi much more reasonable for what you get, with efi std and being a newer car more unmolested examples out on the market.
50mm longer wheelbase so more stable for high speed change of direction, if that matters.
and I was surprise how light a stock cxi is on the weighbridge when I weighed my fren's cxi at the track out of interest. Car is stock aprt from rota slips, has spare and jack in boot, no a/c, and being cxi small brakes and no sway bars. My eg si with a/c 282mm brakes with only 1 race seat, no spare/jack on half tank of fuel weighs 998kg to give you an idea.
my dc2r weighs 1113kg on the same weighbridge.Proudly no longer a member of any WA based Honda forums.

Reasonw hy you havent noticed any diff is that your spoon tie bars were junk anyways.
You want a proper tie bar for the front get a 4 point H brace.
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."
