              It is a bloody ripoff isn't it.

              I have fully personalised plates, considering telling the RTA to have them back. $440 per year - and it goes up EVERY year - is just getting a bit rude.

              You should be able to pay a one off fee and have them forever like some other states...

                They use to have it like that before. A one-off fee, and that was all that was required. Nowadays, plates have become so popular, why not make money out of it, charge customers annual fees at ridiculous prices.

                  $440 per year? Damn.. I though I pay $200 per year in South Australia previously is bad enough!

                  Victoria is a one off fee!! Consider getting VIC plates!
