ok. i currently have toda headers-cat-exhaust, but the exhaust keeps on cracking around the resonator, after 3 welds ups ive had a guttfull so i called toda asking for a resonator section-which they dont sell, so i am stuck with having to buy a new cat back exhaust. can u guys let me know what cat back will fit my setup, also i didnt like how low the toda one sat in the first section back from the cat, is there any that sit higher because there is a huge gap between xhaust and car as toda owners will know. cheers beau.

i think it was installed at centrax in brisbane(previous owner), installation looks fine.
what is a flex pipe? the crack is around the front and back of the original resonator welds, ive had both ends rewelded and they just keep cracking, toda said there is no warantees etc. and i cant buy a replacement resonator section so reguardless im goin to buy a new full cat back simple as that, my question was, wat other brand cat backs will fit my toda header and cat combo? i was also wondering if any other brands sit higher in the first section than toda. btw this is dc5r

Flex pipe pictured below (bottom right, braided item)
Obviously if you done have a flex pipe then the whole exhaust from headers to muffler tip is going to be one 'solid' peice and therefore more susuptable to cracks. The Flex pipe just acts as a 'pivot' for any movement or flex the exhaust may encounter.

What a waste hearing all those cracks.. maybe u shud install flexpipe first and then try welding them again... see if they have any cracks or notMugen Whore #2

There was Buddyclub SPec III going around as well in Sydney for cheap too. One of the loudest exhaust.
Or if you want brand new, any catback will surely fit the headers fine.- Project R -

Just to clarify thats my old car
The headers were part of the group buy ages ago and were modified by toda to include a cat. The exhaust and headers were fitted at the same time by centrax and i had them on for a year and never had a problem.
Cant you get the existing exhaust modified so it doesnt crack?
