evo magazine does tests 0-60mph which is just short of 100km/h and for some cars the difference between having another gearchange or not (2nd to 3rd) hence their slightly faster accel.times. also some magazines average the best of several runs in 2 directions, others post an outright best achieved, some test with a passenger, others are driver only, some magazines used to hand-time (!!) others use correvitt data logger, now GPS has become the most popular..and then there is the ability of the driver and the ambient and surface conditions of the day, condition of the car tested (brand-new, very low-kms cars tend to be a little slower than others with a few thousand kms on the odo).
..
from personal experience with my dc2r using a gtech meter, combined with Motor magazine statistics, i think its fair to expect a stock well maintained aus-spec dc2r to do 6.8-7s 0-100km/h and 15s 0-400m, while a stock well maintained aus-spec dc5r should be a few tenths slower."What's the point of racing a car that doesn't look cool?" - Nakai-san, RWB

JDM DC5R (220PS) is very close to a JDM DC2R (200PS) to 100 and faster over the 1/4 mile.
AUDM has the same motor as the USDM Type S with 200PS so assuming the ratios are similar it might be a better comparison. it's not really going to do the same times as the UK/Euro model which is almost identical to the JDM model.00-0138 ITR
