    toyota-subaru sports car

    http://www.7tune.com/toyotasubaru-co...car-code-086a/

dunno if this is a re-post, but with the current lack of reasonable-budget new sports cars it is good news..

The idiots at the helm should have just put a better engine (2zz-ge) in their last mr2 / mr-s and made it a real manual. It would have been something special. And dare i say it - it wouldnt have been canned.

*even it was "just" a real manual* - i'd have picked one up.

Manual / K20 swaps are common in Japan. They turn the car into a real weapon too.

Wow! That would be quite nice indeed.
I do like the balance of the mr-s - dont know why toyota management nutcases brought it out with that crap box for a transmission.

i beleive the mrs came with a manual gearbox option in japan.
but yeah why they installed a de-tuned version of the celica motor is a mystery.
                  2zz or k20 -swap a definite..
