having driven FunkyR's evo9 i can confirm they are in a different league to dc2r/dc5r. there is just a lot more mid-range punch.definitely a step up in performance. dc2/5r is still great and punches well above its weight but eventually it gets to a point where it cant compete against cars with so much more power and torque..
appearance is another thing though - i guess it depends on personal preference if you like the look, and evos certainly can look very tough when modded nicely, but they arent the most classy looking car imo. (then again neither is dc2r..)
