Cleaning Floors Mats

Hey guys,

I searched to see if this has been covered but i couldnt find anything. Im looking at cleaning my floor mats because i have grease on them from work. Any suggestions on what cleaning products to use ?? I was looking at using some of them floor cleaning products but i heard some fade the colour and i dont want my red floor mats to turn pink

LEAVE FOR A FEW MINUTES (DEPENDS ON HOW HEAVY THE STAIN IS)
and then use a cloth to damp it out, use a good cloth... like a terry cloth.
(so that fibres dont come off on to your carpet)
the i would air it out in the shade, not sun!

well, the source i was hoping to get it from bailed on us... haha

nah.. im in need of new floor mats anyway, just the ones i want are a bit pricey... $300+

You can also try those steam cleaning machines which you hire from supermarkets. They work a treat.

laundry detergent scrub it in and then use a pressure washer

I have some Pyroil Brake Cleaner which works really well on fabric/carpets. Since it is apparently a similar formulation to Dry Cleaning fluid, it won't discolour any carpets or fabrics. Well, it never has for me...

just brush it with water and washing detergent.. it should do your carpet good and shiny
