Will these honda rims fit a DC5

im looking to pickup some of these rims, not sure if they will fit a DC5 though. Used to be on an accord euro luxury.

17x7, + 55 offset i think, 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 tyres. double spoke rims. Correct me if im wrong

    DC5 is stock suspension/height.

WIll these fit with no scrubbing? and fit over OEM brake calipers?

    sorry, n00b here

      yes they'll fit fine.

JDM DC5r rims are 17x7 +60... and many people run them with lowered suspension fine.

what if i dont lower the car? should be still fine?

if i wanted it to fit "better", would it just mean i'd need rims of about +40 to +45mm offset?

I've had the JDM rims on my TypeS and now I've got 17x8 +40 and these new rims you do feel better handling from them...
and yah yah, i know i could go a more aggressive offset and it would be even better (lay off mugsee and chargeR )

if you can get 17x8 +35 is a good start

well so long as it fits and the car drives fine i'm happy

now, 215/45/17 or 225/45/17? any real difference? or just get whatever is cheaper?

Difference in both width and profile of the tyre. 225/45 will alter the actual speed moreso than 215/45

I believe 215/45 r17 is only very very slighty larger (about 2kms difference in speed) than stock dc5 (205/55 R16)
