Errrr.
They never made Apexi Poer FC for K series engines.
And you cannot use one from a B series or other VTEC engine based PFC.
In Japan they use HKS F-con Vpro tuneable ecu's.
For Kpro , I'm pretty sure you cannot use your Type S ecu, you need to get a 02-04 ECU and get that kpro'd and then get a 02-04 ecu to 05-06 harness kit.
I think TODA AU/ Adrian or James from Hondata can confirm more.
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

Further to the ECU conversion, you also need a 02-04 primary o2 sensor (wideband) for your Type S.Official ClubITR Sponsor: www.autosphere.com.au - For all your maintenance, oils and track needs.

E-Manage Ultimate & V-manage FTW
Ends up being cheaper thank the k-pro +ecu swap IMO and you can take it out and install on other car later if you wanted.
One of the Best Piggyback on the market!!! They make a loom for DC5 and for the facelift ecu there is a slit mod or wire conversionLast edited by PolitoHood; 10-09-08, 10:51 AM.Nankangs, Better than Your-Mums-Cans

i think the kpro is your best value for money option, otherwise you could choose to fork out a few k more and go motec, anyway as for tuning, anyone who has tuned turbo honda's can tune kpro, the kpro software isnt all that hard from wat ive read about and anyone who knows anything about tuning will figure it out and be able to use it pretty fast.
