Civic EK9 conversion or DC2R

Hi everyone,

Just need an idea of what car should i get, got 20K to get a car.

DC2R or Civic EK9 conversion with a JDM B18C. Its so hard when coming to a point where you have to decide what to get. Any suggestion I would be happy to hear.

EK9 and K20 conversion. You'll have plenty with a $20k budget for some more mods too.

EK9 STILL being raced. They're the exact same chassis, just like DC5 and EP3.

Also, less conspicuous and lower insurance rating. Easier to find a nice, neat looked after one.

Not sure what planet you're from, but last time I checked you couldn't build a K20 swapped EK for $20k without cutting corners everywhere.

Depends what you want to do with the car... nobody has asked you that yet.

I've owned both honestly i prefer a ek9 more but cost wise building a ek is more expensive.

You're paying too much for an EK then. Also, DIY on labour saves money.

I stand corrected. My point was directed towards the fact that apparentley only the DC2 was made for racing.

Why spend the money on an EK9 just to do a B18C conversion on it? Just get an EK4 and use that.
