Spoon SW388, which shade of black?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows if the SW388's are a deep matt black or are they a lighter shade of matt black? Last time I saw a genuine set was ages ago

I've got white regas but I think its a little too 'bright' on a red car and i'm thinking of power coating it like the SW388's. What do you guys think?

SW388's are anodized so it might be a little hard to match the finish. A matte dark charcoal might be closest althought I have never seen a set in person so I cant really be sure . Hopefully someone that owns a set will chime in.

White on red looks hot in my opinion .

Thanks for the replies guys! LOL I went through the whole SW388 thread at Honda Tech yesterday and i'm still not sure what color is it. Just found out then too that it has an anodized finish.

I know Sean has a set, i'll wait for him to come in

LOL, is it a deep flat black color or is it a lighter shade of black?

Or better yet, trade/sell me yours

Hey Steve! LOL now I can't decide if I should redo my CE28's with the Time Attack colors, Regas or spray/powdercoat to SW388. Ideally i'd go with the SW388 if I can determine the exact shade
