Squeek noise from door and rear - rear strut bar the problem?

hey all, just some little things and im getting paranoid

installed my cusco rear strut last night ( I didnt have my allen keys with me so i could tightly the joints so the bar is still kinda moving from the mounts, not solid) and was fine during initial driving.

today however, im getting little tapping sound from the rear (im guessing from the loosened bar moving) anyways when on a hill/angle and the rear of the car started flexing??

also my driver door started to play up. Its coming from the black metal hinge that goes inside the door itself. when you open and close at a certain point it sounds like rubber is being pushed against something.

anyone got any clues? i have no idea if the door is caused by my rear strut or not or just a random problem

Maybe the added stiffness of the rear strut bar as changed the alignment of the door?

Well stock DC5R comes with the brackets similar to the one cusco designed cept taht the cusco comes with a bar joined to teh otehr side.

Even if you didnt have the bar in and just teh brackets I doubt itll cause probs.

If your chasis could flex that easily without the brackets then you have soem serious problems.

Tapping noise might be anything, like bolts or bits dropped int eh boot but its most likely teh bar not tightened.

As for teh door noise, that shouldnt have any relevance to teh rear bar.

Id check for loose rubber seals or somethign aroudn teh door jams.

yea eddy might go to yours tmrw or something when your free.

door was fixed today, just woke up and it was fine...think my car is alive

as for the rear, Chi the bar is in, it didnt have any problems before when i had the bar off. I took out the oem mounts to mount the cusco (i think thats the right way)

could it be that i've over tighten the bolts ?

anyways will tighten the ball joints on the bar tomorrow (couldnt find my allen key) and see if the problem persists

          cheers all
