i've heard that the best to go with is hondata, i've read alot about them n i saw an ecu comparison chart, whereby the s300 seemed to have alot more capabililties over the power fc.

Have you gone with power fc? how is it, n why would i go with that?

Find out where your car will be tuned, and find out what your tuner prefers to tune.

PFC can be tuned anywhere..

my mechanic has got me setup to be tuned by james at revzone, they're mates so he'll look after me, i think by the sounds of it he wants me to get the s300 but still i wouldnt mind knowing what is the main differences, n which one is better

I have heard you can do more with Hondata.

But then again - dont know the specifics.

hondata s300 especially if james at revzone is tuning it, he is a gun and knows his hondas backwards, and his hondata's

i got s300 in my boosted dc2r and james tuned it.........

just dont buy hondata off ebay or from america if you want James to tune it, lol!

ofcourse there is a difference........its tuned to perfection, for your mods............yeh if james is gonna tune it, i woudl get it from him........

even if you buy S300 from an australian hondata dealer, u made 1 setting changes by yourself, you void the warranty..

just get chrome and try to learn how to tune urself.

Most chrome packages include a aftermarket O2 sensor which will allow you to tune on the fly, that and finding a base map to start with is relatively easy.

Just takes a bit of research, and this was you can monitor your car as often as you want.

Thats what I am going to try and learn to do, I have to read the how to tune books i ordered first though, then ill go from there
