NHB DC2R Recaro's

    NHB DC2R Recaro's

    I am intreagued as to why some NHB DC2R's have red Recaros and some have black.

    Is there any reason for this or just goes on what year of production?

      I always thought 99/00 got black and 01 got red?!?!

          Ive seen a few 01' model NHB dc2rs in both red and black.

          But then its not too hard to swap seats or replace if stolen.

            yep.. i believe that 01 has the red recaros.. same with the 01 yellow dc2r has the yellow recaros.

                My 01 has Red.

                I beleive it was an option, or a "special edition" thing?

                  More like special edition; In 01 there was a model released labelled Type R Sport. Pretty much identical just with the red seats. as did the yellow had the yellow seats (must be soo hard to maintain!)

                      99/00 have black recaros
                      01 have red recaros

                      If not they have been replaced

                        In europe(germany),only the CSW ITR´s have red Recaros OEM,
                        SB & MR ITR´s have black seats.
                        SY ITR´s never were sold in germany unfortunately.

                          Speaking of this kinda stuff, do we know how many actual DC2R's were sold in Australia? I have never come across a clear answer to this question. I would love to know.
