It if is DC5R, It will scrub a fair bit on the inner chasis if u lower your cara fair bit.

You will need at least +38 offset imho and some camber.

"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

I've seen a guy run 255 on the rear fine.

Im running 225/45/17 lowered a fair bit on +43 offset, and the tyres scrub along the inner chasis a bit.

I will be looking into getting more camber on the front soon.

235 is too wide for a 7" rim?

i currently have 205 on 7" but used to have 205 on 6"

current setup feels nicer (crisper) (wheels are 16" prev were 15")

i would think 225 would be much better if you really have to go so wide. I am going to try 215 on my next set to see how it goes. I cant see myself ever trying 235 on 7"

if you look at tirerack for say re01-r tyres the tyres that are 235 wide have a min rim width of 7.5" so 7" is too small in their opinion.
