alright guys, iv been reading lots of forums on the net and im getting a bit confused with the different engines in the integras

so do all type S's 04-06 in australia have the k20z1? which car runs the k20z2 and k20z3?

and is it the jdm integras which run the k20a and the australian ones that run the k20a2?

which engine does the new civic type R's run (ausdm and jdm)

DC5 TypeR is K20A2
DC5 TypeS is K20Z1
Euro/Aus CTR is K20Z2
JDM CTR I am unsure. My guess is just K20Z

both JDM DC5R and CTR are k20a

im not sure about the rest hehe

JDM DC5R and JDM EP3 and JDM FD2 are running K20A but with slight differences
AUDM DC5R and UKDM EP3 K20A2
USDM EP3 Si K20A3
AUDM DC5S K20Z1
USDM FG2 Si K20Z3
AUDM FN2R K20Z4

I wouldn't sayu the K20a in the FD2 has only slight differences.

Theres been a fair bit done to it that is different to the DC5R k20a.


BTW K20Z1 is a POS engine for ppl to use as engine conversion.

not to be confused with the base model RSX engine, which is also K20A3

why is the K20Z1 not good for engine transplant? too many ecu related things to worry about?
