Nah... total value of GOODs only (excluding shipping)
mine was clearly over 1k including shipping
but customs didn't stop it

sorry, what i meant was that the shipping is included when they calculate your taxes IF it is over $1000...

as long as the goods are under 1000 at the current exchange rate, they clear themselves...

Am about to order from tire rack and wanted to check a couple of things with you guys who had already done it.

if tyres are valued at $815 usd or $877 aud without shipping and about $1112 aud with shipping? should be fine and go through without customs slapping on duty as without shipping is under $1000?

also, how did you guys make payment?
