    Bah!!!!

stupid f***ing Famous Insurance want me to have a 3-point immobiliser put into the new car..
anyone know of some decent people/places which do them?

I've asked the guys at the service desk at Tynan Honda and they told me that it won't void my warranty as long as the wiring and all that is done correctly. I would have thought the car would have come to the country with a 3-point immobiliser if it was complied and everything... hmmm.. not sure...

    any suggestions?

Try a search on alarms man, this has been covered many times before.

Most likely any alarm you get in Sydney is going to be installed in a shit manner, so it won't really make much difference.

Put simply if you can find the alarm yourself in 10 - 15 mins, a thief will be able to start your car in less than 90secs, alarm or no alarm.

I don;t understand how anyone can drive a type R and not already have some form of security, thats just plain stupid.

i had it on my old DA6 Integra,

it was so good, i removed it and had it installed on my DC2...

the only 'problem' i had with the Rhino was when i installed the second fuel pump for the surge tank, the additional current from the two fuel pumps overloaded part of the wiring in the alram and it started to smoke, solved this though by bypassing the second fuel pump though...
