Interior is shit in the evo..oh well.......its a 20k lancer with a 40k engine....

But im not into the bling factor....

Get used to all the rattle's......the car is rattling all over atm...

oh btw...the rx8 got car of the year when it was released too. so there is good things about it.

to me the rx8 the way it drives is awesome, everything is in the right places and very ergonomic. seating position is beaut and gear box is very sharp and precise. interior is superb if u got the leather park which also comes with bose systerm. A nice car for daily and cruise.

evo...well like everyone else says, performance is really what your only paying for, other then that its a lancer!!!! interior is not the best too, but i got use to the cheap thrills.

two absolutley different cars and also different cars to compare i think.

thats my opinon anyway.

omg...so far i had two choice,

1. 50k for an evo9 2005 ADM 8000kms, and a
2. 45k rx8 2007 sunroof,leather with 5000kms....

which one is better!!!!omg...why the god never giv me an easier way to choice...buy and 45k rx8 and spend 5k for turboing it...still slower than evo9 adm?

yeap...i drove both and love the evo's performance, and fould the rx8 is actually slower than my dc5 with moded bits. and the rear boot is really small, dun even can put something bigger..so i think i gonna get the evo 9 ADm

yeah my modded DC5R was quicker than my friend's modded RX8 at Sandown.... my evo9 (even when stock) would kill both (puts on flamesuit)....

now that it's modded I just have to deal with slow Ferraris and Porsches

You may find reliability issues by just slapping the turbo on the rx8 without upgrading any other components in the engine.

My guess, it'd cost ALOT more than $5grand to have the rx8 run smoothly and reliably.

yeah the reason why hardly anyone has turbo-ed a RX8 is the heat issues (my mate taka has seriously considered it and decided against forced induction for his RX8 for that reason). you can ask the guys on www.rx8club.com about forced induction if you want.

Whereas $5k on an evo would make it 220wkw (ECU & TBE), with sways, brake pads and maybe some coilovers if you stretch a little....
