suggestion either RX8 or evo9!!!

sadly to say that i m gonna shift out from type R since the car is getting older and older, so i think i gonna sale it and get another newer car...

so far i might had close to $50k to spend, but then it's hard for me to make a decision btw rx8 and evo9...the interior of rx8 is awaresome and it's luxury and also can rev till 9000rpm. however the fuel consumption and the performance is not tat good as an evo9...

evo9 has an awaresome engine,performance, brakes, and outlooks but the interior looks not so good as rx8 did...so confuse bout it..

it's very funny that when i asked a girl what car they want they will choice rx8 and ask most of the guys and they will say evo ....hehe....so can any1 giv me some suggestion???and cons for evo9 or rx8?

i've driven a rx8 and the fuel consumption will really get on ur nerves, especially the growing fuel prices.

Tuneability the evo wins hands down, one pro i can think of the rx8 is the steering lol

neway you can turbo charge the current renesis Rotary engine in the Rx8 for power rather than swapping out to the "older" generation 13b with boost =P..


imo you want the girls to admire your car get the rx8, Evo is a boys toy =P the girls look at it and think its a lancer

but having said that i would also say go for the evo =P

You should also consider the insurance premiums for each car.
As far as I know Evo's are very hefty.

Evo of course. RX8 is much slower (everywhere you go), a bitch to service (i remember seeing the oil filter placed at a very weird location to reach), drinks too much, smaller interior spaces, no proper 4 door...etc. For interior, you can always put in some leather trim to make it up. The only thing that RX8 has over the E9, is interior looks (subjective to individual) and higher rev limit (but rev means jack in terms of performances)
