I have mounted 6.5" speakers in the door...can't remember if used spacers or not though.

Also DC5R have stock tweeter holes on the dashboard near the window.

6.5" in the front and rear. be advised that speakers with big magnets (most of the good stuff) will NOT fit in the front door without spacers and/or door cutting.

also watch out for the larger than average 6.5" speakers in the rear. My MB Quart speakers didnt fit at first so I had to put it behind the plastic moulding.

at first, I had my tweeters in factory location at the top of the dashboard. It's pretty easy to wire in, just drop the cable down and you will see if you remove the glovebox on the passenger side and the fuse cover on the drivers side. It did sound like poo though, so i moved it to the plastic panel on the door where the mirrors are. just pop it off and run cable through the door.

        for installation, see http://forum.clubitr.com.au/showthread.php?t=62

depend on how big the magnet is on the back...if it's too big you need spacers or trim the door abit
