bad news: it weighs over 1700kg. ==> it CANNOT be nimble.
                    i still like it tho.

re: the nurburgring time, as soon as nissan beat the new 911 turbo's time around the circuit, porsche got one of their drivers to beat the new GTR's time in a GT2..
but thats EVEn more exxy than a 911 turbo, so they havnt really proved much imo.

i agree with what someone wrote earlier, badge snobbery is rife in aus. most guys with over 100k to spend on a car aren't REAL enthusiasts and are likely to choose a euro exotic over anything japanese purely to keep up with the jones'

just reading one of the links posted

".....GT-R’s acceleration time of 3.5 seconds for the 0-60mph and 11.7 seconds for the quarter mile. Top speed is claimed to be a staggering 192mph."

                      holy *#$&#(*$&#*!! thats QUICK!!

interior isnt all holy bad.. just seems a little outdated in today's styles. Can be easily jazzed up.

There's nothing a bit of neon lights and hello kitty cushions can't do.

                            R8 (R10?)

we get so ripped off in Aust with car prices... these are like half the price overseas
