    My new DC2R Exhaust set-up

Well I have had a stainless 2.5" B pipe and Canon sitting in the garage for almost a year now.

My exhaust before was a Mugen 4-2-1 with a 2.5" collected mated to a 2.25" stock B pipe, mated to a hacked up mugen twin loop.

    Now the new set-up comprises.
    Mugen 4-2-1 Headers
    SMSP 200 Cell Cat
    2.5: Hytech Bpipe
Mugen Twinloop with 2.5 Inch piping
For the track I can swap on the Hytech canon and swap off the twinloop. Both fit perfectly.

The new set-up feels awesome, noticed an instant change in performance. Can't wait to get an ECU and then on tot he dyno.

The sound is even better, nice rumble with the twinloop and not to loud on part throttle, on full throttle the exhaust is actually very quiet, can't hear anything over the motor.

    Anyways heres some pics.

Hakken at Northmead Performance Exhausts did the work. Top notch guy

"Hacked up mugen twin loop" - instantly thought of Adrian, o Adrian's old car!

Great work in giving what the car finally deserves!

Yeap it's Adrians old car, I hated the fact that the exhaust was a half assed job, sapped a lot of power out of the car. Hakken fixed up the tiwnloop, it looks a lot sweeter now.

I have made quite a few changes to this car, just to make it more complete. final phase is ECU and tune, I'm not doing any engine internal mods after hearing all the horror stories.

The cat was very impressive, you can see right through it. No nasty smelll either. The good thing is you u knwo the bench test numbers on these cats are pretty accurate. I don't trust the aussie cat claims.

Dave take urs to Hakken, he Tig welded most of my system where he could. Welds looked sweet

Hare and Frobes in Northmead. think it was 220. It goes a bit higher than that, and drops down to about 9 cm

I was going to ask you some questions regarding the fitment and the ease of swapping axle backs, but as soon as I heard Hakan had done the work I'm sure there are no issues.

Looks great and I'm sure is nice and quiet for daily driving.

couldn't agree more, hakkan has always done a top job on me and my mates cars, from fabricating turbo installs to simple jobs bolt ons

yep, it will arrive next week,

i will go get a dyno run done prior to compare,

but will be hard to be apples to apples - as i will be adding the 200cell cat at the same time

additionally, i think it will require re-tuning as the A/F will lean out a bit (i hope!)
